24/7 Emergency Care. Our patients are first.
Feeling weak can be harmless—or it can be the first sign of something serious. If the weakness is sudden, severe, one-sided, or comes with confusion, chest symptoms, or breathing trouble, don’t wait.
Call 911 right now if weakness may be a stroke
Treat this as an emergency if symptoms are sudden and you notice any F.A.S.T. warning signs:
Face drooping
Arm weakness (especially on one side)
Speech trouble
If you see these signs, call 911 immediately.
Call 911 right now if weakness may be a heart attack
Weakness can sometimes be tied to a heart emergency—especially if it comes with:
Chest pain/pressure/discomfort
Shortness of breath
Cold sweat
Pain in the jaw, neck, back, arms, or shoulders
Nausea/vomiting, feeling light-headed, or faint
If these symptoms appear, call 911 immediately.
Go to the ER now for weakness with red-flags
Come in right away (or call 911 if severe) if weakness is accompanied by:
New confusion, fainting, or you feel like you may pass out
New trouble walking, loss of balance, or sudden vision changes
Severe headache, especially if it starts suddenly
Trouble breathing or you look/feel seriously ill
Ongoing vomiting/diarrhea with signs of dehydration (very dry mouth, minimal urination, can’t keep fluids down)

Great staff and doctors quick results it a great place to go for emergency or health reasons.Posted on Ayana PrattTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went in with chest pains and shortness of breath. I have insurance but it’s not in network. I live close by so I went to the nearest emergency room. I was greeted and made aware that I might have to pay self pay if the Dr deemed it not an emergency. After getting an ekg the Dr said it wasn’t an emergency and they proposed I pay over $1800 to be examined. The Dr said what do you have Medicaid, making an unfair assumption. I replied no I have Aetna insurance. I politely declined and had to go somewhere else. They were nice overall but why the outrageous charges!?Posted on Soumaya AlissaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing staff, doctors, and care. Kids get tired and “wiped out” with everyday illnesses—but urgent evaluation matters when your child:
Is hard to wake, unusually drowsy, or not acting right
Is too weak to stand/walk normally
Has trouble breathing
Has signs of dehydration (very dry mouth, sunken eyes, or not peeing like normal)
Has severe symptoms where you feel your child is not safe—call 911
If you’re on the fence: with kids, it’s better to be cautious.
“Weakness” isn’t one diagnosis—it’s a symptom. It can come from something simple (lack of sleep, mild viral illness), but it can also signal conditions that need urgent treatment, such as:
Stroke or TIA
Heart problems (including heart attack or abnormal rhythm)
Severe dehydration
Low blood sugar
Serious infection
Anemia or electrolyte problems
Medication reactions or intoxication
The risk goes up when weakness is sudden, one-sided, progressive, or paired with confusion, breathing problems, chest symptoms, or fainting.
ER vs. Urgent Care for Weakness
Choose the ER when weakness is:
Sudden, severe, worsening, or one-sided
Associated with speech/vision changes, confusion, fainting, or severe headache
Associated with chest discomfort, shortness of breath, sweating, or nausea
Happening in higher-risk situations (older age, diabetes, blood thinners, recent illness with dehydration, history of stroke/heart disease)
Consider primary care/urgent care only if weakness is mild, clearly explained (for example, after a poor night of sleep), improving, and there are no red flags.
