24/7 Emergency Care. Our patients are first.
Most bumps and strains are manageable. But if the injury looks severe, the pain is intense, or something feels “off,” don’t guess—get checked.
Go to the ER right away if the sports injury involves:
Head, neck, or spine concerns
Knocked out (even briefly), “not acting right,” confusion, or unusual behavior
Severe or worsening headache
Repeated vomiting
Seizure, fainting, trouble walking, weakness/numbness, or slurred speech
Neck pain after a collision or fall
Breathing or chest concerns
Trouble breathing, wheezing, or bluish lips/face
Chest pain after impact, chest tightness, or coughing up blood
Possible broken bone, dislocation, or circulation problem
Obvious deformity, bone showing through the skin, or the joint looks “out of place”
Can’t bear weight or can’t use the arm/leg normally
Severe swelling, intense pain, or rapidly increasing bruising
Numbness/tingling, a cold hand/foot, or the limb looks pale/blue
Bleeding or wound concerns
Bleeding that won’t stop with firm pressure
Deep cuts, gaping wounds, or a dirty puncture wound (especially if tetanus status is uncertain)
Heat illness during sports
Confusion, collapse/fainting, seizure, or extreme weakness during/after activity in the heat
Hot skin with altered behavior or severe symptoms

Every one from the front desk, to the ma’s, nurses, doctors and techs were quite caring, understanding and were attentive to make sure I was comfortable and cozy. Great staff and doctors quick results it a great place to go for emergency or health reasons.Posted on Ayana PrattTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went in with chest pains and shortness of breath. I have insurance but it’s not in network. I live close by so I went to the nearest emergency room. I was greeted and made aware that I might have to pay self pay if the Dr deemed it not an emergency. After getting an ekg the Dr said it wasn’t an emergency and they proposed I pay over $1800 to be examined. The Dr said what do you have Medicaid, making an unfair assumption. I replied no I have Aetna insurance. I politely declined and had to go somewhere else. They were nice overall but why the outrageous charges!?Posted on Soumaya AlissaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing staff, doctors, and care. Kids get hurt—and most of the time it’s not dangerous. But kids can’t always explain what they’re feeling, and certain injuries should be evaluated urgently.
Bring your child to the ER now if they have:
A head hit and they’re sleepier than normal, confused, vomiting, or “just not themselves”
Neck pain after a fall or collision
A limb that looks crooked, swelling that’s rapidly increasing, or they refuse to use an arm/leg
Severe pain that doesn’t settle, or they can’t walk normally
Any numbness/tingling, weakness, or a cold/pale hand or foot
Breathing trouble, chest pain, or fainting during sports
Why sports injuries can be serious
Sports injuries aren’t only sprains. Depending on the impact and symptoms, we may be concerned about fractures, dislocations, ligament tears, head injury/concussion, internal injury, or heat-related illness. The safest rule is simple: if function is limited (can’t use it), the pain is severe, or symptoms are escalating, get evaluated.
ER or urgent care?
Choose the ER when there are red-flags (head injury symptoms, severe pain, deformity, inability to bear weight, uncontrolled bleeding, breathing/chest symptoms, fainting, or heat illness).
Consider urgent care for mild sprains/strains and minor injuries when:
Pain is mild to moderate and improving
They can walk/use the limb
There’s no deformity, numbness, severe swelling, or head injury symptoms
If you’re unsure, it’s reasonable to choose ER care—especially for children.
